Happy Halloween!
For those lovely readers who are handing out candy tonight, we've included a section at the end full of British shows which are still enjoyable with lots of pausing and interruptions - shows that don't require intense and constant concentration. Thank you to all of you who are out there making the holiday a little more magical for the kids of your area!
What we're...
- Watching: Great British Ghosts - Host Michaela Strachan (Winterwatch) takes us to all sorts of haunted locations around the UK, talking with local experts and treating us all to some great scenery. If you hate the usual shaky green screen "ghost hunter" shows but still like factual, spooky programming, you'll enjoy this.
- Reading: Murder on Skye by Daniel Sellers - This is the 4th Detective Lola Harris book, and it just came out a couple days ago. When Lola investigates the murder of a juror who disappeared after a well-known trial, the leads take her to the Isle of Skye, where secrets and danger await. If you haven't read the first three in the series, you might also be interested in the e-book box set HERE.
